Mercenaries are a enemy type in Contract Killer: Sniper. They are equipped with assault rifles and have more health along with slightly more body armor than regular recruits.

Base Defense
They may not be special forces but they can be annoying to deal with in higher levels as they will be take 40% less damage from a single headshot and be able to survive a clip or two from most Firearms.
However at lower levels they are quite easy to kill without upgrades.
Strategy
Wait until they pop out of cover or reload. Aiming at the head will usually kill them or fire off half a clip to the chest.
